Out-Manuevering the North Korean Info-Blockade

This NYT article (2011-04-29) on activists in South Korea describes a fascinating method of trying to get around the North Korean info-blockade using hydrogen filled balloons which float over the border and then drop thousands of leaflets (and money!). The argument in the article between the practitioners about message and credit is less important than the nonviolent methods they’re developing. To see a description of similar ideas, please see Patrick Meier's article on "The Burmese Cyclone, Nonviolent Action, and the Responsibility to Empower," and Patrick's iRevolution blog.
